Went to watch movies on friday & Saturday at the same place. cathay cineleisure. a good place to watch, bcos movies are cheaper with UOB Cards. anyway, nowadays many credit cards are having this kind of promotion, e.g.: DBS fresh card.
watch twilight on friday, i would say out of 5 popcorns, i will give 4. it's nice, though vampires only exist in reel life. but i thought it was really cool and nice movie to catch, especially is hard to find vampires show nowadays. but not to worry, underworld 3 is coming out soon. will wanna watch that too. twilight is about vampires existing centuries back, and had a treaty with those indiana clan to stay on the land but not hurting the humans. but of cos, there are the good & bad ones. some parts are funny, especially the home has a lot of graduation hats. is about a vampire n his family protects the girl (human) that he likes. that's kinda amazing..
then yes man, wasn't very fantastic show as the starting is a lil long n boring. well, i would say is only worth 3 pop corns? because 1stly, im not a really jim carrey fan, though i know his movies are funny n lame. this one turns out to be lame n funny in a lil bit of parts, so you can't really hear much laughter. but it's about this guy (carl) who say NO to every single thing, and finally attend a talk, which is YES! so after the talk, he say yes pratically to everything, and ended up being known as terrorist to the airport crews, just bcos he takes up Korean, and learn how to drive a plane, and dates a persian? or... i don't know, the girl looks like from middle east. and goes on last minute trips. that concludes it. so the girlfriend finds out about him saying yes to everything, and realise maybe he doesn't like her at all, just becos he say yes to everything people asked him. so the ending is the same as any other plot. well, is easy to guess.
next movie will be bedtime stories? i'm waiting. adam sandler, hopefully he's good at this one, as the last movie i watched isn't very nice. |
