It was my mum's birthday, and she has a craving for Sez chuan food, so i went google, search a whole list, actually the repeated ones are the one at Park Royal, Goodwood, Fairmont, and some other places. So we went to Fairmont, seriously, i didn't know they change the name to Fairmont, i was still wondering where is it. For those who are wondering, well.. is at Swissotel. Anyway, the place looks good, is at the same level where we had our teppanyaki that time, but this sze chuan food is so so much cheaper.
So we had the usual, hot and sour soup, peking duck, prawn with dried chilli and peanut, string bean w/ minced chicken, cereal beancurd and e-fu mian. The food size was just great for all of us, what i like most was the cereal beancurd and the prawn. Well, the peking duck looks a bit too overpriced, it was just an average size duck. the hot & sour soup was really that hot that make my tummy uncomfortable. the chinese tea was hmmm.. you have to put sugar in yourself and i don't really like their starter. Anyway, the string bean was quite too soft, the crepe was bit too thick. But overall, we wipe out the whole thing.
